She studied garment design and sewing in college and completed her Bachelors of Science in Home Economics with an education emphasis. She has taught Elementary, Middle School, High School and College level students throughout her educational career and will tell you that owning a Quilt Shop with her son has been the "Icing on my Career Cake!"
